The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Pakistan’s one of the best financially supporting program, started the distributing the second installment of May 2025 from today. In this phase of payment many of eligible families will benefit in all over Pakistan. Goverment of pakistan continuing efforts to support low-income household.
Starting Date Of Payment:
Payment distribution will start from 13 May 2025. This is second phase of payment. This payment will be distribute in many districts and regoins in Pakistan. Most families will receive 13,500 and other depending on eligibility.
Who Will Receive the Payment?
The target of BISP second installment is beneficiaries registered under the Benazir Kafaalat program. basically the women who are heads of their households. Every eligible family will receive 13,500. This installment is increase from the last installment. These steps of goverment showing the commitment to improving the standard of underdevelop communities.
How Are the Payments Being Distributed?
Payments will distribute in stages across various provinces, including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. BISP has partnered with banks and retailler agents to ensure the trasparent and fast distributing process. Eligible individuals can receive payment from ATMs, designated bank branches and biometric retailler shop.
Steps for Beneficiaries:
Beneficiaries receive payment by following these steps:
- SMS Verification: Send your CNIC number to 8171 via SMS to check the eligibility.
- Visit Payment Centers: After the confirmation message of eligibility from 8171, you can visit payment point with your original CNIC for biometric verification.
- Complaint Handling: BISP has introduced the complaint redressal cells for any isuess or complan.

Government’s Statement
Secretariat of BISP said that delivery of financial support on timely and safely is a top priority. “The government is committed to ensuring that no deserving family is left behind. We urge all beneficiaries to follow the proper process and avoid dealing with unauthorized individuals,” the official stated.
Future Enhancements
The BISP is trying to improve the digital payment options for the best user expricence and further streamline the registration and verification process. Plans are also underway to integrate the BISP database with other social welfare programs for more support.
